The first time we saw the pixie crop hair style on Victoria Beckham we knew she was out there to make headlines. And though the pixie crop is a definite 2010 hair trend, it was from men's 2010 hair trends that Beckham took more of her style cues. Today it's out with the schoolboy and in with tousled, and we have all the angles to show it off.

As far as 2010's hair trends go, not many have been bold enough to attempt the pixie crop. We have seen many variations of the trend on Victoria Beckham, who rarely shies away from dramatic new hairstyles. There's little point in wearing clothes from 2010's fashion trends unless you have the one other major element just right: hair.

Taking their cues from 2009, in 2010 women's hair trends will play to the extremes. They might be extremely short, extremely girly, extremely sexual or extremely slick. It'll only be the bob hair cut which will sit somewhere to the left of extreme; and you're going to be hard pressed to find that hair style on fashion forward women.
